Please work vacation time-sports camps, church camps or any other extra curricular activities around the term. Students are required to be in attendance every day. There are no exceptions. So before registering, please check your calendar and make sure there is no conflict. The prerequisite for this class is a learner’s permit and the DATE Course.  If your student does not have the permit prior to registration, they can take the DATE course and permit test through us.  Students must be 15 years old in order to do this.  When they have passed the test, you will be able to take them down to DMV and have their permit issued to them.

Classes will meet at room 630. When they report to class please have them bring the following: pen or pencil, paper, and shoes; no sandals or flip flops what so ever can be worn when operating the vehicle.  The first week of the term we will spend in the classroom covering the DATE course, which are the drug and alcohol units and other important information. Students must attend even if you have had the DATE course. Students must be at least 15 years of age by the beginning of the term. The second week will consist of driving on the range where students will learn various skills. When we have finished the course your student will receive a certificate and a driver’s license waiver.

If you have any questions, call Rod Taylor at 833-4114 ext. 6300.
