Eve Glenn, a freshman at Niceville High School, has been accepted into the prestigious United States Naval Academy Summer STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Program in Annapolis, Maryland.
Students from the United States and territories are eligible to apply to this competitive summer program. From a pool of over 6,000 applicants, approximately 200 freshmen students are appointed to attend the program.
Attendees must demonstrate superior academic performance including GPA, class standing and leadership skills.
The USNA Stem program brings the latest in technological advances to the classroom and lab sessions with such topics as: Energy and Light, Infrastructure, Transportation and Cyber-security, Simulation and Modeling, Flight and Fluids, Biometrics, Robotics and Automation.
Eve will have the opportunity to learn from distinguished Naval Academy professors in world-class lab facilities that provide a exceptional learning environment outside the traditional classroom.
