With the holidays approaching, we recognize this can be a difficult time for many families facing deployment, separation, etc. This informal gathering will allow us to get to know families better and discuss any questions or concerns you may have about your student in a relaxed setting. Depending upon our response, we would like to meet on a more regular basis to discuss a range of topics geared towards parenting. These may include adolescent behavior, effective discipline, helping children cope with various stressors of military life, relocation, anger management, trauma , grief and resiliency, to name a few. As always, if you would like a confidential session with the Military and Family Life Counselor to discuss your child’s needs, please feel free to contact them at (850) 428-6878 for Grades 9 and 11 and (850) 417-4078 for Grades 10 and 12.
The Morning Coffee will be held on Wednesday, November 20th at 6:30 a.m., shortly before the Thanksgiving holiday. Light refreshments will be served. We look forward to chatting with you on the morning of the 20th, and will send another friendly reminder soon.
